The public corporate website does not currently load non-essential analytics or advertising technologies. Necessary browser storage is used to remember your privacy choices. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, they will be kept behind the applicable consent controls.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kit identifiers and other methods that store or access information on a device. UK rules can apply to these technologies even when the information is not directly identifying.
2. What this website currently uses
| Name / technology | Purpose | Category | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dervalyn_privacy_preferences (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional categories and the consent version | Necessary | Up to 180 days before the site asks again |
dervalyn_session (session cookie) | Secures authorised administration sessions under the /admin path; it is not used for ordinary public browsing | Strictly necessary | Session |
Server or hosting infrastructure may also use strictly necessary technical mechanisms for security, routing or load balancing. We review and update this inventory when production infrastructure or public features materially change.
3. Optional categories
Analytics: may be used in the future to understand aggregate website performance and usage. No optional analytics provider is currently enabled on the public corporate website.
Marketing: may be used in the future for advertising, conversion measurement or similar marketing functions. No optional marketing provider is currently enabled on the public corporate website.
Choosing “Accept optional” records your preference. It does not create analytics or marketing tracking by itself when no optional provider is configured.
4. Your choices
Non-essential technologies remain disabled until the applicable valid choice is obtained. You can accept or reject optional categories and change your choice at any time using the button below.
Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from using the core corporate website.
5. Games and third-party platforms
A playable game may use browser storage needed to save settings or progress, and a third-party platform may use its own cookies, SDKs or identifiers. A normal outbound link to TikTok, YouTube or another platform does not itself load that platform's tracking technology on this site. Embedded players, pixels, SDKs or similar integrations can be different and must be reviewed before activation. Those technologies are not necessarily controlled by this corporate-site preference tool. The relevant game or platform privacy information should be reviewed before enabling additional data collection, advertising, accounts or purchases.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to remove or block cookies and site storage. Blocking strictly necessary storage can cause parts of a service, such as secure login or saved preferences, to stop working correctly.
7. Changes and audits
We review this policy when technologies are added, removed or materially changed. Before enabling a non-essential tracker, we update this inventory, confirm its purpose and retention period, update the consent configuration and verify that the technology is blocked until consent where required.
8. Contact
Questions about cookies or tracking technologies can be sent to privacy@dervalyn.com. For broader information, see our Privacy Policy.
